Laurilee Reiber, ARNP, joined PeaceHealth Medical Group- Bellingham Cardiology team of providers in September 2018.
Prior to joining the Cardiology team as a nurse practitioner, Laurilee served as a registered nurse on the Progressive Care Unit at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center for 10 years. It is there that she discovered a passion for caring for heart patients. “The best part of my job was being able to spend time helping patients understand what was happening with their heart so that they would be better prepared to manage their health when they left the hospital,” she said.
Laurilee believes that forming a partnership with her patients is crucial. She is committed to taking the time to explain treatment options, care plans, expected outcomes and potential complications to all patients. She incorporates wellness and preventive care into treatment plans.
“I strive to put myself in the shoes of my patients. We mutually agree on treatment goals to ensure the best chance of success,” she explained.
Laurilee speaks Spanish. Outside of the clinical setting, she enjoys taking in all that our beautiful corner of the country has to offer. Her favorite pastimes include hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, reading and baking. She also loves spending time with her husband, their daughter and their German shepherd.
