Lance M. S. Amols MD

Lance Amols, MD, is a quadruple board-certified psychiatrist. He specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction medicine and forensic psychiatry.

Dr. Amols has significant experience supporting inpatient treatment. He treats all patients from youth to adults. Dr. Amols collaborates with the care team. Together, they provide thoughtful, coordinated and patient-centered care.

Dr. Amols earned his medical degree at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in Miami, FL. He has published research related to childhood trauma and PTSD. He has participated in expert panel discussions related to psychiatric and addiction care. His background in forensic and addiction psychiatry informs his approach to ethical decision-making.

Dr. Amols meets each patient where they are. He works hard to create a safe and respectful environment grounded in trust. Dr. Amols shared, “I strive to provide evidence-based care while remaining flexible and thoughtful in my approach, recognizing that no two patients are the same.”

Outside of work, Dr. Amols enjoys kayaking, hiking and exploring the region with his wife and their dog.
