Biography

Kimberly is a skilled provider with experience in emergency medicine, intensive care, critical care and rural medicine.

Kimberly has a long history of providing care to rural patients. She most recently worked as a hospitalist in a critical access hospital in Western North Carolina. She started her medical career as a phlebotomist and medical assistant while going to nursing school. She worked in ER, ICU and surgery as a staff nurse then as a house supervisor in Chattanooga, TN, before training as a nurse practitioner. Kimberly is currently completing a post-master’s adult and geriatric acute care nurse practitioner certification.

Kimberly is eager to return to rural family practice and looking forward to the opportunity to build relationships with patients, applying her teaching and critical care skills.
