Biography
Joshua Brinkerhoff, MD joined PeaceHealth Medical Group Primary Care in 2020. Dr. Brinkerhoff graduated from the University of Utah School of Medicine and Ball Memorial Family Medicine Residency in Muncie Indiana. He was in family practice at Fillmore Community Medical Center in Fillmore Utah for eight years when the opportunity to move to Ketchikan arose. Dr. Brinkerhoff considers himself to be a consultant with patients, digging into the questions they have and helping them lead the healthiest lives they can. He is experienced is all aspects of family medicine from pediatrics to geriatric medicine as well as urgent care. Dr. Brinkerhoff has also worked with several medical missions. During his residency he and other physicians went to Tijuana Mexico to give medical care to the local population. As a fourth year medical student, he and a classmate worked for a month at Zhong Shan People Hospital in southern China, and for two weeks as a premedical student he and other classmates from Brigham Young University worked with a local family physician in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala.
