Biography

Mr. Spitler is a certified Physician Assistant and belongs to the American Academy of Physician Assistants. His interest in medicine began in rural Southeastern Arizona after helping to found and operate a volunteer emergency medical and rescue services organization. He owned and operated a small construction company in the community and saw the problems associated with the lack of access to care. "I see the importance of creating partnerships within communities to educate and improve health of individuals and communities." He returned to school to further his work in this passion. "Everyone deserves access to competent and compassionate healthcare. My goal is to provide that in a setting that allows continuous learning and improvement in collaboration with patients and the health care team." Mr. Spitler was born in Norfolk, Virginia, but spent most of his adult life in Patagonia, Arizona. He and his wife have three grown children and a grandchild. In his free time, he enjoys several hobbies, including guitar, cooking, travel and growing trees.
