Jessica M. Colon NP

Jessica Colon, NP, is a member of the vascular surgery department at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and was recently promoted to Nurse Practitioner.

She has 10 years of experience as a cardiac nurse and has been a member of the RiverBend staff since 2023. Prior to that she was the critical nurse coordinator at Los Robles Regional Medical Center.

She earned her nurse practitioner certificate from United States University and her bachelor of nursing from Grand Canyon University.

She was drawn toward healthcare after watching the experiences of family members who ultimately required major care.

“I wanted to help my patients before they reach that point,” Colon said, “to give them power to make decisions and life choices to avoid that process.”

Colon is fluent in Spanish. She has three kids and two dogs and recently became a grandmother for the first time.
