Jeffrey R. Watkins MD

Jeffrey Watkins, MD, is a board-certified general and gastrointestinal surgeon.

Dr. Watkins specializes in minimally invasive surgery. He provides both surgical and endoscopic care for complex digestive conditions. He treats benign and malignant gastrointestinal and foregut diseases.

Dr. Watkins completed a fellowship in advanced gastrointestinal surgery at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Watkins has authored more than a dozen peer-reviewed publications. He has also presented his research at professional conferences. Dr. Watkins is a founder of Northwest Minimally Invasive Surgery in Portland, OR.
