Jamie Sansone CNM

PeaceHealth welcomed Jamie Sansone, DNP, CNM, ARNP to our OB/GYN team in Bellingham in 2023. She sees patients at our Squalicum Parkway clinic. Jamie takes a holistic approach to full-spectrum midwifery care throughout the reproductive lifespan, including gynecology, prenatal and postpartum care, labor and birth and menopause care. She also is an experienced first assist on cesarean sections. “My goal is to be present with people as they navigate the many layers of transformation during pregnancy and birth,” she says of her approach to practice. “I want to create a safe care environment, share evidence-based tools and resources and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their health.” She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice in nurse midwifery from the University of Washington School of Nursing in Seattle, Wash., and she also holds two undergraduate degrees in nursing and sustainable business. Jamie cared for OB/GYN and surgical patients at clinics in the greater Seattle area as an RN before becoming a nurse midwife. Outside of the clinic, Jamie likes being active outdoors, traveling, gardening and quality time with loved ones.
