Biography

J. William Hartley, ARNP, joined the PeaceHealth orthopedics team in 2023, practicing at our Sedro-Woolley clinic. Bill enjoys working collaboratively on a team to provide high quality patient care. He previously worked in urgent care, emergency services and as a nurse practitioner in the U.S. Air Force.

As a member of the USAF Medical Service, Bill practiced all over the world and enjoys meeting people and hearing their stories.

In addition to being a certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Bill holds master’s degrees in public health from Loma Linda University, Loma Linda, Calif., and in trauma and emergency care from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas.

“I treat patients the same as I’d like to be treated, or the members of my family,” says Bill about his practice philosophy, adding, “I put service before self.”

Outside of the clinic, you can find Bill reading, traveling or camping.
