Garrett Jeffery, DO, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Family Medicine team of providers in November 2017. Dr. Jeffery comes to PeaceHealth after practicing family medicine with inpatient care and obstetrics at Sound Family Medicine in Puyallup, Washington.
Dr. Jeffery has a strong commitment to service – both professionally and personally. While in residency with MultiCare East Pierce Family Medicine, he served as Chief Resident in Family Medicine and with his local Washington Association of Family Physicians chapter. From 2012 to 2016, Dr. Jeffery served on the Board of Directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, in Tacoma, Washington. He also volunteers his time as a physician at free clinics, summer camp for children with diabetes, as well as events such as Bellingham’s Ski to Sea in 2018. He is active with the Rotary Club of Bellingham.
Dr. Jeffery provides a full scope of care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics, as well as office-based procedures, chronic disease management, acute care and preventive services. He is board certified through the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. Dr. Jeffery has a special interest in diabetes management and addiction medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Jeffery enjoys camping, fishing, photography and tinkering in the garage. He is hoping to transition from snowboarding to skiing at Mt. Baker with his family. Dr. Jeffery believes in supporting his community through volunteering.
