Daniel G. Young PAC

Daniel Young, PA, has joined the emergency medicine department at Peace Harbor Medical Center. 

He graduated from the Emory School of Medicine. He brings 10 years of experience working in emergency medicine at Grady Memorial Health System in Atlanta, where he worked in trauma and critical care as an emergency medicine physician assistant.

“I believe that healthcare is a human right, like food, water and shelter,” Young said. “Increasing access to quality healthcare for all people increases our collective health, wealth and quality of life in every community.

“I really value being able to help people that need it,” he added.

He and his wife are in the process of adopting their foster children and were drawn to the West Coast for its beauty. 

“We wanted to get out West somewhere and Oregon has always been a place that I loved,” Young said, adding that he and his wife are looking forward to making the Florence area their home.
