Colleen E Rice LICSW

Colleen Rice is a licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with both a master’s degree in public health and a master’s degree in Social Work. Colleen is an experienced clinical social worker joining us most recently from Northwest Regional Council where she provided mental health counseling. Colleen brings two decades of extensive experience in social work, advocacy, education and research. She has expertise in mental health counseling and assessment, case management for adults living with severe mental illness and psychosocial assessments. Colleen has provided assessments, education, group and individual counseling in English and Spanish. Colleen particularly appreciates working with patients on issues surrounding aging and disability, gender diversity, holistic care and trauma informed care. Colleen spent five years living in Central America where she became proficient in Spanish. During her time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala, Colleen provided life skills education and was a course director for experiential education courses in Guatemala. Outside of her clinical practice, Colleen enjoys trail running and cycling, spending time with family, camping, skiing and backpacking.
