Biography
Binaya Rimal, MD, has been practicing pulmonology and critical care since 2004 and been practicing in Eugene/Springfield since 2010. He specializes in pulmonary care, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), emphysema and lung cancers.
He earned his doctor of medicine from the Institute of Medicine at Tribhuvan University. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Bellevue Hospital, NYU Medical Center.
He looks at the whole patient when working with them and incorporates their values in moving forward with their care.
He is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys watersports such as paddleboarding and kayaking. He also loves to garden and aims to be farmer in his retirement. He can speak Hindi and Nepali.
