Andrea J. King MD

Andrea King, MD, FACS, is a palliative care physician at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, WA. She specializes in medical care to improve the quality of life for patients with serious or life-threatening illnesses.

Dr. King treats each of her patients, and their families, with above and beyond care. She focuses on listening to each person. With compassion and understanding, she creates treatment plans to fit their specific needs.

Before joining the palliative care team, Dr. King was a highly respected trauma surgeon and Chief of Staff at PeaceHealth Southwest. She earned her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University. Her fellowship in hospice and palliative care comes from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. King's previous training as a trauma surgeon was completed at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.
