Amy Hopkins, MD, PhD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Dermatology team in September 2021. Her specific medical interests include medical and geriatric dermatology, atopic dermatitis, eczema and cutaneous lymphoma.
Dr. Hopkins came to PeaceHealth from Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon, where she was chief resident. Her previous experience in internal medicine and additional elective training provide her with a robust foundation to assess, diagnose and treat complex medical and disease-causing skin conditions.
Dr. Hopkins enjoys teaching her patients about their conditions and works to ensure they are always at the center of their care. “I enjoy working with patients in shared decision-making to choose a personalized treatment plan that works best for them,” she shared.
Outside of her clinical practice, Dr. Hopkins enjoys cooking with fresh food from local farmers markets, running, mountain biking and hiking. A favorite pastime is also spending quality time with her husband, their daughter and their dog.
