Abhinav Tiwari MD

Dr Abhinav Tiwari is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency at University of Toledo Medical Center in Ohio and Gastroenterology fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan, after which he joined PeaceHealth in 2021.

His objective as a physician is to empower his patients and their families through education, consultation and treatment using evidence-based medicine.

In addition to performing general endoscopic procedures like upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, he is also trained in advanced procedures like EMR, ERCP and endoscopic ultrasound.

He has published or presented more than 65 articles in various gastroenterology journals and at national conferences. He also serves as a peer reviewer for various medical journals and as a judge at American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and American college of Physician (ACP) national conferences. He was awarded Mission and Values Award for social justice by PeaceHealth Recognition for his compassionate service.

When he is not working, he enjoys cooking and riding his bike.
