Touchstone Award

Nominate a doctor or advanced practice provider (nurse practitioner, physician associate/assistant, certified registered nurse anesthetist, certified nurse midwife) for the TouchStone Award by describing the caring moments and compassionate care that makes them so special.

Criteria include the following:

Demonstrates clinical competence in their ability to analyze complex medical issues and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
Effectively communicates with patients and family members by actively listening and conveying complex medical information in a clear and understandable manner.
Motivates caregivers and colleagues with a shared vision and enthusiasm to achieve better outcomes for their patients, themselves and their departments.
Serves as a mentor to caregivers and colleagues.
