Cardiology
Cardiologist Sudeshna Banerjee, MD, joined Sacred Heart Medical Center's Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute in 2011 after completing fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo. She attended medical school at the University of Missouri, and completed her residency at Case Western Reserve University. Her professional interests include interventional cardiology and structural heart disease. "I cherish my relationship with my patients and strive to effectively diagnose and manage their illness," she says. "Clear communication, ongoing education and mutual respect are vital to this process and integral to a successful treatment plan." Dr. Banerjee said she chose to join Sacred Heart's team of cardiac specialists because of the attitude and camaraderie of the physicians, as well as the reputation of the organization. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities, traveling and cooking.
