Community Collaboration
We are proud of our mission to help others and are dedicated to giving back to our communities. In the last three years, PeaceHealth has given over $1.4 million in grants to community partners in Cowlitz County. And there's more to come!
Here are a few recent examples:
- Homeless Crisis Response: We invested $910,000 to support multiple organizations that are helping address the housing needs of our community members in impactful ways.
- Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders: We’ve contributed $200,000 to partner with organizations that work with individuals of all ages to address and prevent mental health and substance use disorders.
- Improved Access to Whole-Person Care: We contributed $169,000 to organizations that provide outreach and support to help community members gain access to services to improve their health, ranging from housing and food assistance to navigating health insurance, education services and transportation.
- Nutritious Food for Residents Who are Food Insecure: We invested nearly $137,000 in organizations to support gardening, nutrition education, food production and distribution over the last three years.
