Proven healthcare business executive joins PeaceHealth Board of Directors

Tom Westrick

VANCOUVER, Wash. – PeaceHealth has named Thomas Westrick to its system board of directors.

Westrick is a proven global healthcare business executive with more than three decades of leadership experience across quality, regulatory affairs, research, operations, finance and enterprise risk management. Most recently, he served as President and CEO, Patient Care Solutions at GE HealthCare, where he led a more than $3 billion global business. 

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles at GE HealthCare, including vice president, chief quality officer, head of regulatory affairs, and global research operations. In these roles, he led global quality, regulatory, and external research operations. He also created and delivered a global system of operational continuous improvement to ensure quality products and service. He previously served as global controller/chief risk officer and process simplification leader. 

Prior to joining GE HealthCare, Tom spent 13 years in public accounting with Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving a variety of multinational public and private companies across multiple industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has served on several nonprofit and civic boards, including the University of Wisconsin School of Business and the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce.
