Lynden, Wash. – PeaceHealth’s Lynden Clinic is celebrating its second anniversary this month, marking another year of providing high-quality, compassionate primary and specialty care to residents across north Whatcom County.

Since opening on April 15, 2024, the clinic has become a trusted and convenient healthcare hub for patients of all ages from Lynden, Ferndale, Blaine, Sumas, Everson and surrounding communities. The 22,500-square-foot facility continues to expand its services and deepen its roots in the region.

Located at 8844 Benson Road, the clinic now employs a total of 31 caregivers, including five family/internal and four same-day physicians and clinicians, with an additional 23 rotating specialists offering pediatrics, orthopedics, cardiology, behavioral health and obstetrics/gynecology/midwifery. On-site lab services and imaging—including mammography—are also available through partnerships with Quest Diagnostics and Mt Baker Imaging.

Metrics reflect both strong demand and increasing capacity: In the past two years the clinic has recorded more than 25,000 Family Medicine visits, 7,000 Pediatric, 8,000 Priority Care (same-day) and 20,000 specialty care visits.

“It’s been incredibly gratifying to see how quickly the clinic has been embraced,” said Arielle Serianni, clinic manager since opening day.  “We consistently hear positive feedback not only about the convenience of having so many services available locally, but also about the beauty and comfort of the space itself. The natural light, the efficient layout and the collaborative spaces support both patient care and staff wellbeing.”

At least 15 clinic caregivers call Lynden home, including David Pash, DO, an Internal Medicine physician. He spent most of his childhood in Lynden and was thrilled to have an opportunity to return and give back to his community. “It was always a goal of mine to come back,” he said.

Personally, Dr. Pash is especially grateful that his wife, who gave birth to their second child earlier this year, was able to get all her pre-natal care at the clinic from a PeaceHealth OB/GYN.

“In a small rural town, having a healthcare option like this is huge,” he said. “I see the difference it makes every day for my neighbors, friends and family.”

PeaceHealth is grateful to the City of Lynden for its partnership and ongoing support. For more information, visit www.peacehealth.org/lynden.
