Collin Fischer, MD, joins PeaceHealth Cardiology in Bellingham

BELLINGHAM, Wash. – Collin Fischer, MD, has joined the PeaceHealth Cardiology Clinic at the Northwest Medical Center on the PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center campus in Bellingham.
Dr. Fischer previously practiced cardiology and was department chair at the Billings Clinic in Billings, Montana.
He earned his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California. He completed an internal medicine residency at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington, and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Fischer spent much of his early medical career in the Army, serving in Italy and Afghanistan, among other places.
His professional interests include prevention, cardiac imaging and the acute and longitudinal care of heart failure. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease, cardiovascular computed tomography, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.
Outside of work, Dr. Fischer enjoys skiing, mountain biking, foreign travel and spending time with his family.
