Sara Batya, MD, is a board certified neurologist with fellowship training in movement disorders, which include Parkinson's Disease, Essential Tremor, Huntington Disease, Dystonia, tremor, tics, and Restless Leg Syndrome. She is a specialist in the management of deep brain stimulation and the non-surgical care of the complex and multifaceted aspects of these diseases. In addition she enjoys developing long-term relationships with her patients. Dr. Batya understands the important task of choosing a care provider who is sensitive and compassionate. "My goal in treating my patients is simple - be kind and listen well. I care for my patients the same way I would care for family members and in the same manner in which I would want to be treated," she says. Dr. Batya earned her medical degree from Tulane University in 2004. She completed her residency in adult neurology and her fellowship in movement disorders at Stanford University.
