Philip Randall “Randy” Frank, DO, joined the PeaceHealth Behavioral Health team of providers full time in January 2022. Dr. Frank is no stranger to PeaceHealth. He has served as a relief psychiatrist for the clinic since 2002.
Before joining PeaceHealth, Dr. Frank practiced with Center Point School in Eugene, Oregon, and SCAR/Jasper Mountain in Jasper, Oregon. He holds two certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology in Children & Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry. Dr. Frank earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Virginia. He went on to earn his Master of Science degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in Blacksburg, Virginia. Following his master’s degree, Dr. Frank pursued his Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
After a 20-year military career, Dr. Frank retired from the Army in 2002 at the rank of colonel. During his military tenure, he served as the Chief of Psychiatry at Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam in Houston, Texas, for three years.
Outside of the clinical setting, Dr. Frank can be found training for half marathons. When he’s not running, he enjoys travel, playing the piano and hitting the golf course.
