Dr. Raju is a heart specialist at Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute. He leads the Chest Pain Center and the vascular and endovascular program at PeaceHealth. Dr. Raju is an expert in interventional cardiology and vascular medicine. He uses tiny tools and small incisions to open blocked arteries and to improve blood flow to the legs. These minimally invasive procedures are less painful and heal faster than open surgery. He holds multiple board certifications in heart care, vascular medicine and heart procedures. This means he meets high standards and stays current with the latest techniques and treatments. Dr. Raju trained at two of the top heart care centers in the U.S.: Cleveland Clinic and Michigan State University. His research has helped create national guidelines used by heart doctors across the country. He is also studying new ways to treat heart attacks and high blood pressure in older adults. In his leisure time, he enjoys hiking, golfing and playing tennis.
