Maggie Zhang, MD, is board-certified in general psychiatry and child and adolescent mental health. Dr. Zhang cares for patients of all ages. She has a special interest in supporting young people as they become adults. For some, this can be a time marked by anxiety or social withdrawal.

“My goal is to help children build resilience, strengthen their identity and thrive within their communities,” Dr. Zhang shared.

Dr. Zhang graduated magna cum laude in biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She completed her medical training at the University of Texas Health — Long School of Medicine. In Texas, Dr. Zhang often volunteered for a local refugee clinic, helping displaced families cope with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder.

In her free time, Dr. Zhang enjoys hiking, reading and traveling.
