Laura Keels, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner who was inspired to become a nurse practitioner after doing volunteer health work in Latin America. Laura completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, and the University of California, Davis. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also completed her Family Nurse Practitioner internship. “I strive to provide empathy, compassion and high-quality care for my patients, Laura shares. “I enjoy getting to know them as a person and want to listen to them.” Laura and her family relocated to the Pacific Northwest from the California Bay area. She has two daughters and is also a pet lover. She enjoys fitness, promoting wellness and traveling.
