Kuvera Sikhakhane, MD, is board-certified in family medicine. He has training in treating chronic diseases (diabetes, hypertension, asthma) and mental health. He is skilled in preventative care.

Dr. Sikhakhane completed his residency in family medicine at Indiana University’s School of Medicine in Lafayette, IN. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Sikhakhane served as a nurse in the emergency department at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, British Columbia. He earned his nursing degree from the British Columbia Institute of Technology

While getting his nursing degree, Dr. Sikhakhane focused on holistic care and empathy. He prioritizes the emotional, social and spiritual needs of his patients. Dr. Sikhakhane shares decision-making with his patients to help set individual goals. This holistic approach supports their physical health.

“I place a strong emphasis on what matters most to each person,” Dr. Sikhakhane said.

In his free time, Dr. Sikhakhane enjoys listening to music, cycling and trying new foods.
