  • Family Medicine
Kelly Walker, MD, is a family medicine physician at our PeaceHealth clinic in Lynden. Her medical interests include full spectrum primary care, from newborns to our oldest and wisest patients, women’s health, reproductive health and chronic care management. “I believe healthcare is a human right and everyone deserves access to compassionate and quality care,” says Dr. Walker about her philosophy of care. “It is a privilege to listen to each person’s history and to collaboratively develop a care plan that honors their priorities and choices.” Dr. Walker graduated with honors from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, followed by residency at Ventura Family Medicine Residency in Ventura, California. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She chose family medicine as a specialty after working in Africa for four years and seeing the impact of primary care on people’s lives. Before becoming a physician, Dr. Walker worked as a high school science teacher. Away from work, she enjoys time with family, trail running, swimming, paddle boarding, hiking, theater, cooking and gardening with her kids.
