Jonathan Hattenhauer, DO, is a board-certified doctor in internal medicine and digestive health. His services include screenings (colonoscopies) to catch or prevent colon cancer. Dr. Hattenhauer also treats conditions like abdominal pain and liver disease. His specialty training gives Dr. Hattenhauer expertise on how the digestive system affects the rest of the body.

“Food and lifestyle are often the first medicine, but sometimes procedures and prescriptions help too,” he shares.

Dr. Hattenhauer earned his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences in Lebanon, OR. He got his bachelor’s degree at the University of Oregon. He focused his medical training on learning about digestive tests and diseases.

Outside of work, he enjoys family time and likes to play tennis and go to Portland Trail Blazer games.
