Jason Chen, MD, is nephrologist whose practice areas include treating chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and critical care and transplant nephrology. He earned his medical degree from University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles. That was followed by completion of his internal medicine residency at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena, California, and a nephrology fellowship at UCLA in Los Angeles. “Nephrology provides the opportunity to help people learn more about their bodies and the importance of taking care of their kidneys,” shares Dr. Chen. “My wish is to empower those with chronic kidney disease to take charge of their own health. I strive to become my patients’ advocate in navigating the complicated world of medicine and help patients improve quality-of-life and promote overall well-being.” Away from work. Dr. Chen enjoys traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants, playing trivia, board and video games, and listening to music.
