Christine Williamson, NP, RD, is a nurse practitioner specializing in diabetes, endocrine and weight management. She helps patients understand how food and insulin affect their bodies at PeaceHealth in Vancouver.

Christine joined the clinic in 2015 as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). She taught patients valuable information such as how to manage their diabetes with glucose meters and insulin pumps. She also advised people how to eat more healthfully and prepare for bariatric weight-loss surgery, if needed.

She says she gained a wealth of knowledge and diabetes patient expertise over the years. That inspired her to earn her Master of Science degree in Nursing from Aspen University.

She also advanced to assisting PeaceHealth surgeons as a medical surgical nurse. Continuing her training, she earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certificate.

These credentials show Christine’s commitment to providing safe, evidence-based care that helps people achieve their health and wellness goals. She enjoys getting to know her patients and supporting their long-term health and well-being.
