Christina “Christa” Goldie, ARNP, joined the PeaceHealth Oncology Department in January 2022. Christa has significant experience and expertise in the field of oncology. Her medical interests include benign and malignant hematology and medical oncology. Christa previously worked as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with the Swedish Medical Center Cancer Institute in Seattle, Washington, where she saw medical oncology and hematology patients. She also provided high-risk breast surveillance and clinical surveillance of breast cancer survivors. Christa completed her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology with minors in psychology and French from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York. She returned to Washington to complete her Master of Science in nursing with an emphasis in adult/gerontology nurse practitioner from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. Christa shares that she takes, “a patient-centered approach to medicine by partnering with patients to develop a plan of care that aligns with their goals.” She continued to share that she believes, “that education and empathy empower patients to take an active role in their own care often at the most vulnerable time in their lives.” When not working, Christa likes to stay active outdoors, particularly through road cycling. She is also an avid traveler and hopes to explore all corners of the world in her lifetime.
