Brent Whitehead, MD, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group (PHMG) Same Day Care Clinic team of providers in February 2019. Although Dr. Whitehead took some time away, he is not new to serving PeaceHealth or the Bellingham area. Dr. Whitehead has been practicing medicine in Whatcom County walk-in, urgent care and primary care settings since 2006. Dr. Whitehead is excited about the opportunity to help the community and PHMG patients with access to care when it is needed. Dr. Whitehead is committed to practicing medicine the way he’s always done; that is, by listening to each patient, treating them with respect and providing them with the most appropriate treatment. “I enjoy treating patients of all ages to meet their diverse healthcare needs,” he said. Dr. Whitehead has many interests outside medicine, including beekeeping, photography and helping his wife with her lavender farm. He also enjoys golf and snow sports. He has three daughters.
