Anthony Holmes, MD, FACC, joined the PeaceHealth Medical Group Cardiology team of providers in 2019.
Dr. Holmes has special medical interests in advanced cardiac imaging, coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, cardiac amyloidosis, valvular heart disease and arrhythmia. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a registered physician in vascular interpretation and a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC).
In addition, Dr. Holmes is a diplomat of the National Board of Echocardiology, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and Certification Board of Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT).
Dr. Holmes’ most recent research has focused on speckle-tracking echocardiography in valvular heart disease, clinical outcomes after transcatheter aortic valve replacement and cardiac magnetic resonance in myocardial remodeling. His collaborative research has been featured in many peer-reviewed publications, a book chapter and various medical conferences.
Dr. Holmes comes to the Pacific Northwest from New York, New York, where he completed his cardiovascular disease fellowship.
When he’s away from the clinic, he enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with his wife and children.
