We welcomed Alicia Morrison, MSN, FNP-BC, to the PeaceHealth Medical Group Endocrinology team of providers in 2020. Alicia comes to PeaceHealth from Evergreen Family Medicine in Roseburg, Oregon, where she practiced as a nurse practitioner and diabetes specialist. Alicia takes a special interest in type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus, prevention of end-organ complications, emerging diabetes technology and diabetes distress. She is passionate about promoting diabetes self-management skills, health literacy and prevention of complications. “I aim to provide holistic, individualized and cost-effective care through relevant education, productive communication and shared decision making," she said. In her time away from the clinic, Alicia enjoys reading, strength training, hiking and traveling.
