Rev. Kevin J. Park
Rev. Kevin J. Park is the Manager of Spiritual Care at PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center and a certified Associate Supervisor with the Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE). Kevin is an ordained minister with the Baptist Union of Western Canada (BUWC) and endorsed as a minister in the United States by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). Kevin completed his CPE residency at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. He began working at PeaceHealth St. Joseph in mid-2002 and did his supervisory training through Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. Kevin has been in the Army National Guard for 18 years and is currently a chaplain in the Washington Army National Guard and has deployed twice to Iraq in 2003-2004 and 2008-2009. He currently serves as the brigade chaplain for the 96th Troop Command, headquartered in Seattle, WA.
Kevin grew up in Suriname, South America, where his parents were missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators (SIL). He has a degree in Political Science from the University of Arizona and a Master of Divinity degree from Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia. Kevin enjoys a good cup of coffee and running. He is married and has six children. Kevin and his family enjoy gardening, camping and raising chickens.
