Meet Our Physicians
|Yamac Gungor, MD received his medical degree in 1997 at Columbia University. He completed his cardiology training at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology.|
Dr. Gungor is an invasive cardiologist with experience in cardiac catheterization, cardiac CT angiography, pacemaker implantation and transesophageal echocardiography. His special areas of interest include: evaluation and management of chest pain and dizziness in the elderly.
|Shaun Harper, MD completed medical school, an internal medicine residency, and a cardiology fellowship at the Ohio State University. Dr. Harper, who grew up in up-state New York, is the Director of Heart Failure Services at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He has a special interest in heart failure and clinical research, having participated in many of the major recent heart failure trials. He has a wife and two young sons.|
Dr. Harper is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. When not in the office, he can be found in his workshop making furniture. And yes, he still has all his fingers!
|Margo Kozinski, MD is a graduate of the Internal Medicine residency, Cardiology Fellowship and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship programs at Rush University of Illinois at Chicago. She holds 4 board certifications inclusive of Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Kozinski also holds an Endovascular Certification from the American Board of Vascular Medicine. Dr. Kozinski is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and has offices both at SWMC and Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital.|
Dr. Kozinski is very compassionate and highly skilled in all aspects of Interventional Cardiology, including but not limited to, cardiac catheterization, PTCA/stenting, intravascular ultrasound and physiologic lesion severity assessment. She has a special interest in peripheral vascular disease. She performs angioplasty and stent placement of the renal arteries, as well as the vessels in the lower extremities, using the most technologically advanced diagnostic and interventional tools to provide the best possible patient care and outcomes. Dr. Kozinski has a passionate focus on the issue of women and heart disease.
Dr. Kozinski and her family live in Camas. They enjoy travel, all the outdoor activities the Pacific NW has to offer, spending time with their three dogs, and an occasional round of golf.
|Michael Ontkean, DO completed his internal medicine and cardiology training at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is an interventional cardiologist providing a full spectrum of devices and procedures to help patients with coronary artery disease. Additionally, he works with our exercise physiologist in developing individual exercise prescription programs. He is American Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and sub-specialization of Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Ontkean is a fellow of the A.C.C. and of the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.|
Dr. Ontkean lives in Camas with his wife and son and is an avid cyclist, having completed several events and commuting by bike. Additionally, he enjoys surfing and skiing in addition to listening to music, gardening, learning French and traveling.
|J. Warren Reid, MD was born and raised in Oregon, graduated from the University of Oregon and received his medical degree from the University of Oregon Medical School (now OHSU). Post doctorate training in internal medicine and cardiology was completed at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.|
Dr. Reid practices general cardiology, both invasive and non-invasive, and is board certified in internal medicine and cardiology. He is married with two children. His other interests are gardening, running, skiing, hiking, music, and traveling.
|James Reiss, MD, a specialist in cardiac rhythm disorders, was a faculty member in the Division of Cardiology at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). He completed medical school in 1995 and internal medicine residency in 1998, both at the University of Washington in Seattle. Before beginning cardiology training he spent nearly a year as the director of the American Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Russia. Dr. Reiss completed fellowships in general cardiology (2002) and clinical cardiac electrophysiology (2003) at OHSU. He was also awarded a Masters Degree in Public Health in 2003 at OHSU. He remains a clinical assistant professor of medicine in the division of cardiology at OHSU.|
Dr. Reiss's area of expertise is cardiac arrhythmia, which involves all aspects of heart rhythm disorders including those requiring pacemakers, defibrillators, electrophysiology studies and ablations. He is fluent in Russian and has a personal interest in Russian culture.
|Michael Subocz, MD grew up in Michigan and attended medical school at the University of Michigan. His internal medicine residency and cardiology training were at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. He has board certification in Cardiovascular Disease and in interventional Cardiology. Dr. Subocz has a special interest in interventional cardiology and especially enjoys caring for the acutely ill cardiac patient. He also has a busy general cardiology practice which involves office consultations, follow up visits, and interpretation of non-invasive cardiac studies.|
Dr. Subocz and his wife, Sally, have 3 grown up daughters and share their home with a dog and 2 cats. He enjoys playing mandolin, kayaking, gardening, and he collects recorded music.
|Justin Colquhoun, PA-C is a certified Physician Assistant. Born and raised in Spokane he attended Western Washington University for his undergraduate studies. He began a career in medicine as a medical assistant in a busy family practice and then worked in a regional trauma center before receiving his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, OR. Mr. Colquhoun enjoys all aspects of cardiovascular care, but has a special interest in geriatrics and patient education issues. He assists the physician team care with acutely ill patients in the hospital, sees patients in the office and is involved with the Lifestyle Modification Clinic.|
Mr. Colquhoun enjoys camping, snowshoeing and is an avid photographer.
|Bob Senning, PA-C received his medical training as a Physician Assistant through the University of Washington Medical School in 1992. He is nationally certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a member of the Washington State Medical Society.|
Mr. Senning enjoys outdoor activities, is an avid pilot and is married to Janet, a pharmacist
|Amy Surface, PA-C is a nationally board certified Physician Assistant with special interest in heart failure and preventative/alternative medicine. She attended Washington State University for her undergraduate degree in Biology, and recieved her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Oregon Health Science University in Portland, OR. Amy sees patients in the office three days a week. She primarily sees heart failure patients, reads cardiac monitors, and councils patients on risk factor modification.|
Amy is married with two young children so the remainder of her week is spent caring for her family. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, being outdoors and making cards.
