Jennie Crews, MD

PeaceHealth St. Joseph Cancer Center Medical Director

An honored oncologist and dynamic physician leader, Dr. Crews delivers impressive experience and many accolades. She has served as director of Medical Oncology for Beaufort Regional Medical Center in North Carolina, where she was the founding director for the Marion L. Shepard Cancer Center. Dr. Crews success​fully built cancer services there from a one-day per week outreach clinic to a full service cancer center, serving an eight county area. She also served as president of the North Carolina Oncology Association.

Dr. Crews has received several awards and honors, including: Best Doctors in North Carolina, 2007-2011; Paul Harris Fellow, Rotary International, 2010; research grant recipient from the American Society of Clinical Oncology Community Oncology, 2009; election to Fellowship in the American College of Physicians, 2002; and Alpha Omega Alpha.

She has served as the president and the legislative liaison to the state assembly for the North Carolina Oncology Association, has been the principal investigator for more than a dozen clinical trials, the author of several research articles and publications, and has presented at several high-level clinical conferences.
