Become a Volunteer
Our volunteers provide the exceptional care and understanding inherent in the mission and values of PeaceHealth. All of our volunteers are dependable, have excellent communication skills, and have friendly and postive attitudes.
The first step in becoming a volunteer is completing the appropriate application form.

After your application is complete, please call the Volunteer Services Office at (541) 222-2200 to schedule an interview. During the interview, applicants discuss their skills, interests and availability. If accepted, each volunteer undergoes a background check. Volunteers then attend an orientation to introduce them to volunteer services at PeaceHealth. They receive a TB skin test and purchase a uniform shirt or vest. Our staff work to match each volunteer with a position that best meets the person's schedule and interests.

Some General Requirements to Volunteer
- Complete appropriate volunteer application
- Individual interview
- Background check
- TB skin test
- Role-specific training
- A minimum six-month commitment
