Visiting Specialties

From Allergy to Urology

Although Ketchikan's PeaceHealth system offers high quality healthcare services, the fact remains that Ketchikan's remote location and comparatively small population makes it impossible to offer every specialized medical service and procedure all of the time.

To counter these limitations we offer some of those services in the form of visiting clinics. We bring highly-trained, specialized physicians from other regions in PeaceHealth to Ketchikan regularly. There are also a number of non-PeaceHealth specialists who see patients in the community as well.

We benefit from their experience and specialized training without the burden of maintaining full-time staffs and facilities for less than a full-time need.
