“I am thrilled to be in Ketchikan!  I love the outdoors and grew up in Albany, Oregon so I learned early that rain just means you wear a jacket.  I have already been vacationing here regularly which led to this opportunity to live and work where I play.  The proximity, diversity and availability of outdoor activities is a gold mine.  I grew up playing soccer all the way through medical school where I discovered the outdoors through climbing, kayaking and mountain biking.  I love the water and the wilderness of which Ketchikan has more than a lifetime’s worth to offer.”
