Erik Hauck, MDHere's what a colleague wrote about Dr. Hauck in the Physician Award nomination: "Dr. Hauck goes above and beyond what our mission stands for. He continues to amaze his staff with his passion and dedication to each one of this patients. You can't help but be happy when you see his big, cheery smile, yet know how serious and smart he is deep down."

And this is from a patient: "After undergoing an MRI, my primary care doctor found a problem. Luckily, Dr. Hauck fixed me. I couldn't be happier with the results. After 13 months of being bed-ridden, I'm up and about. It's truly a miracle."

Andrea Halliday, MD
A colleague of Dr. Halliday wrote this on the nomination form: "Dr. Halliday is an incredibly strong leader, excellent clinician and a wonderful coworker. Through her role as patient safety officer and as a neurosurgeon, she models behavior that supports patient safety, collaboration and teamwork. She has been a valuable addition to the administrative team in this hospital, and she remains a practicing neurosurgeon who is committed to quality care and continuous improvement to patient outcomes."

Kialing Perez, MDTwo PeaceHealth Medical Group physicians are receiving more than one Guardian Angel award. Dr. Perez (left), an Infectious Disease Specialist, will receive three. Here's what one patient said about him: "Thank you again for saving our daughter's life. Words cannot express our gratitude."

Mark Duminier, MDAnd Dr. Dukeminier, an Internal Medicine physician at the South clinic, will receive two. One patient wrote this about him: "Despite Dr. Dukeminier's busy schedule, he always finds the time to see my husband and myself in a timely fashion. His ability to properly diagnose conditions through screenings is impeccable. He even took the time to review my lab work when he was out of town!"

Congratulations to all of these doctors and the many other PeaceHealth physicians who contribute so much to our organization and the lives of patients.
