Patient, visitor and caregiver safety is PeaceHealth’s top priority. To help reduce the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we are implementing some changes at our clinics. If you have symptoms, including fever or cough, we ask that you please call your provider’s office prior to arriving at our facilities. If you are seeking specialty services, please be aware that some of these clinics have temporarily closed, changed their hours or suspended routine office visits. Please call the specific clinic for the latest information.

Imaging is the use of radiation (x-ray) and other technologies that produce pictures of areas inside the body.

Our Imaging Center provides x-rays, CT scans and other studies. Our federally certified and accredited Women’s Imaging Center provides mammograms and ultrasounds to both men and women. Saturday and early morning appointments are available.

Cottage Grove Community Medical Center is now offering 3D mammography, the latest technology in mammogram imaging. Our new Hologic machine converts digital breast images into a stack of very thin layers or “slices” to create a 3-dimensional mammogram. This provides a clearer and more accurate image of the patient’s breast tissue, and patients report an increase in comfort over traditional technology.

3D mammography machines use low levels of radiation, ensuring that your procedure is safe and your exposure to radiation waves is well below the American College of Radiology (ACR) guidelines.
