 “I joined the PFAC because I wanted to help people in the community navigate the hospital system; with emphasis on documents passed to patients and families.”

Accomplishments

Our PFAC serves as a voice for positive feedback and our focus is on improving the patient experience. We helped in the implementation of these projects:

  • Pet Care program ensures pets are cared for while patients are receiving care.
  • Quiet Hours project.
  • Emergency Department video phone acquired and installed for hearing-impaired patients to make phone calls to loved ones.
  • Design approval of new patient whiteboards.
