Rand O'Leary
Chief Executive, PeaceHealth Oregon

As Chief Executive of PeaceHealth Oregon, Rand O'Leary leads operations and maintains accountability for the overall administration, financial health and management of PeaceHealth Oregon hospitals to ensure our communities have access to efficient, high-quality, safe and patient-focused care.

Rand is a seasoned healthcare executive with extensive hospital leadership experience. Prior to joining PeaceHealth in 2014, Rand was the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital in Wyandotte, Michigan. - a 401-bed acute care hospital serving the Downriver and Western Wayne County communities. He also served for six years as the Vice President of Operations at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan - a 425-bed tertiary referral and teaching hospital that is a part of the Ascension Health System.

Rand has always had a deep appreciation for all things mechanical and a true spirit for adventure. To feed these passions, Rand is a licensed and instrument-rated private pilot and loves finding and restoring old vehicles. So, when he is not working your likely to find Rand hanging around the airport, hiking some of the amazing Oregon trails or working in his shop on his 1953 Ford pickup truck.

Rand holds a master's degree in Health Care Administration and is a Fellow, American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).

Rick Yecny
Chief Administrative Officer, PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center

Rick Yecny has been Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Mission Officer for Peace Harbor Medical Center since 2010. Prior to assuming his current roles, Rick served as Chief Financial Officer for Peace Harbor from 2001 to 2010.

Before joining Peace Health, Rick was a partner with Davis, Yecny, and McCulloch certified public accounting firm for 18 years. He also served on the Peace Harbor Hospital Community Board of Directors from 1991 to 2000.

Rick currently is a board member of the Friends of Florence, a non-profit organization providing transportation for cancer patients to Eugene for radiation therapy. In his spare time, he enjoys home brewing, fly fishing, tent trailer camping, hiking and golfing.

Rick received a bachelor's degree from the University of Portland, and is proud to share that in his senior year of high school, he played All-State second base in baseball and played on State Champion baseball team in 1973.

Tim Herrmann
Chief Administrative Officer, PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center

Tim Herrmann's tenure with PeaceHealth spans back to 1988, when he served as Trauma Program Coordinator at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene. He continued his PeaceHealth journey by taking on roles such as Manager of Sacred Heart's Emergency and Trauma Services, Administrator of Cottage Grove Community Hospital and his current role in 2014 as Chief Administrative Officer.

When Tim is out of the office, he and his wife, Pam, enjoy the arts and hold season tickets to the Eugene Symphony. Tim also fishes, hikes, builds fine-scale models and flies radio-controlled airplanes.

Tim graduated from University of Portland with a bachelor's degree in 1982. He earned a master of business administration degree in 2003 from Northwest Christian University in Eugene.

Mary Anne McMurren
Chief Administrative Officer, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District

After four years as Administrator and Chief Mission Officer at PeaceHealth Cottage Grove Community Medical Center, Mary Anne McMurren took on an expanded leadership role as Vice President of Post-Acute Services and Administrator of PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District in July 2013.

Post-acute care refers to a range of medical services that support a patient's continued recovery from illness or management of a chronic illness or disability after leaving the hospital. Mary Anne's responsibilities also include executive oversight of behavioral health services. Her background and skill set are particularly suited to leading the efforts to expand our network of care in these vital areas.

Mary Anne is actively involved with United Way of Lane County and Saint Mary's Episcopal church. She believes working in partnership with others is the best way to address and solve complex issues in our communities. In her spare time, she also enjoys spending time with her family, cycling, walking her golden retriever and traveling.

Mary Anne earned her master's degree in health care administration from the University of Phoenix in 2009 and a bachelor of science in nursing from Oregon Health & Science University in 1982.

Robert Blake
Chief Operating Officer, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center campuses, University District and RiverBend

Robert Blake, RN, is Chief Operating Officer for PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend and University District. Prior to his arrival at PeaceHealth in 2017, Robert served as Vice President & Chief Operations Officers for Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Robert is reveling in the bounty the Pacific Northwest has to offer with his partner of 30 years, Wade Cox. An avid gardener and “wannabe farmer,” Robert did consider a career in horticulture. Robert enjoys singing and playing the piano, visiting open-air markets, and attending theater and concert performances.

Robert received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Houston Baptist University, a master's degree in psychiatric nursing form Texas Women's University, a master of business administration degree from the University of Houston and a master of divinity degree from Houston Graduate School of Divinity, all in Houston. Robert is currently working on his doctorate in nursing science.

Gary Kemske
Chief Financial Officer, PeaceHealth Oregon

Gary Kemske is Chief Financial Officer for PeaceHealth Oregon. Before arriving in Oregon in 2017, Gary most recently held the role of Vice President of Finance and Chief Finance Officer at Adventist Health Feather River Hospital in Paradise, Calif.

In his free time, Gary enjoys listening to music, writing songs and playing guitar. He and his wife, Darlene, are passionate about renovating houses and exploring the city of Eugene. Gary also is an avid hiker and cyclist.

Gary received his bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and his master of business administration from Wilmington College, both in Delaware.

Steven Wolinsky, MD
Chief Medical Officer, PeaceHealth Oregon

Steven Wolinsky, MD, joined PeaceHealth in 2017 as Chief Medical Officer and Patient Safety Officer serving our four Oregon medical centers. Before Dr. Wolinsky arrived in Oregon, he served as Chair of the Quality Council and Medical Director of Cardiology at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Ga.

Dr. Wolinsky is joined by his wife, Jeannine, and their son, Carter. The Wolinsky family enjoys the arts, attending the theater and symphony, and savoring the rich culture and natural beauty Eugene offers. Dr. Wolinsky runs, cycles and swims, loves spending time with his family.

Dr. Wolinsky received his doctorate from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y. He completed his internship at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and his residency at The George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he was Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Wolinsky was fellowship-trained in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology at The George Washington University Medical Center.

Dan Kelly,
Chief Nursing Officer, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend

A Texas native, Dan Kelly, R.N., has been in the role of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center at RiverBend since 2016. Prior to joining PeaceHealth, Dan served as CNO for Memorial Hermann Health System's Memorial City Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He also l lived in the Middle East for three year at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre in Saudi Arabia as Director of Nursing.

Dan and his wife, Nancy, have fallen in love with Eugene's culture and the Pacific Coast, and participate in boating, kayaking, hiking and sailing whenever they can. Dan has visited more than 35 different countries, feeding his love of travel. The Kellys' two children are still in Texas: Matthew, a healthcare executive in Houston, and Lauren, who works at Google in Austin.

Dan earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Nursing in Galveston, Texas, and a master's in business administration in Healthcare Administration from Regis University in Denver, Colo.

Ben Farber,
Chief Nursing Officer, PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District

Ben Farber, RN, is Chief Nursing Officer at PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center, University District. Prior to his arrival at PeaceHealth, Ben served as Senior Director of Patient Care Services at Mercy Hospital in Bakersfield, Calif., where he also was Nurse Manager of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry, Director of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry and Director of Patient Care Services.

Ben is a classically trained pianist and violist, and also enjoys quilting, music, running and cooking. Ben serves on the board of the HIV Alliance as its president-elect and chair of the development committee.

Ben earned his bachelor's degree in nursing and his master's degree in nursing from California State University in Bakersfield, Ca., and then his doctorate from Rush University in Chicago. Ben is additionally certified as a Clinical Nurse Leader, in Executive Nursing Practice and is Nurse Executive Advanced-Board certified.

Marcy Marshall,
Director Strategic Communication & Engagement, PeaceHealth Oregon

Marcy Marshall serves as Director of Strategic Communications & Engagement for PeaceHealth Oregon.

Marcy comes to PeaceHealth from the nonprofit Geisinger Health System in Pennsylvania, where she served as director of employee communications, as well as director of clinical enterprise communications. Prior to Geisinger, Marcy was a long-time editor for newspapers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Marcy, her husband, James, and their two children love life in the Pacific Northwest, especially the food scene and boundless outdoor opportunities. Living in Track Town USA is like coming home for Marcy, as she grew up immersed in the world of running, including working for her family's newspaper, Runner's Gazette (America's First Running Newspaper). Marcy continues to fulfill her love of running and spending time with her family.

Marie Stehmer,
Senior Director of Human Resources, PeaceHealth Oregon

Marie Stehmer is PeaceHealth Oregon's Senior Director of Human Resources.

Marie came to PeaceHealth from Banner Health Network in Phoenix, Ariz., where she served as Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Consultant. Marie lived in the Phoenix area for 27 years after growing up in Anchorage, Alaska.

Now that she's in the Pacific Northwest, Marie's goals include exploring the vast array of Oregon wineries and hiking opportunities, while also fulfilling her love of quilting and reading.

Marie is a Senior Professional in Human Resources and holds Just Culture Certification and Certification in Healthcare Human Resources. She holds a master of business administration degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix.

Jeff Larson
Chief Development Officer

Jeff Larson is the Chief Development Officer for PeaceHealth Oregon.

Larson most recently served as Vice President, Chief Development Officer for Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, and previously worked for PeaceHealth from 1996 to 2007 in several roles, including Manager of Development and Communications for the PeaceHealth Sacred Heart Medical Center Foundation.

Larson is a founding member of Oregon's Rural Hospital Quality Network and Health Information Technology Oversight Strategic Planning Committee. He received a bachelor of science in health care administration from Concordia University in Portland, a graduate certificate in accounting from Linfield College in McMinnville and a master of business administration from the University of Oregon.

John Holmes,
Director of Mission and Ethics, PeaceHealth Oregon

John Holmes serves as Director of Mission and Ethics for PeaceHealth Oregon after he successfully established the program. John additionally assumes responsibility of the Patient Family Guest House and the Clinical Pastoral Education program for Oregon Network. He holds both a PhD and MA, and trained for four years under mentorship of Rev. Father John Tuohey. He is a Clinical Bioethicist and Mission Leader and serves on the University of Oregon Institutional Review Board, is a courtesy Assistant Professor in the UO Philosophy department, and a board member for Catholic Community Services.

John met his wife and mother of three, Christine, when he transplanted to Oregon from the Midwest in the late 90s. John loves the outdoors, and recently climbed Mt. Shasta. He regularly hooks into 18+ trout on many northwest rivers – catch and release!

John graduated from the Ministry Leadership Center's three-year Catholic Health Care Leader formation program in 2016.
