Consultations
For any breast concern, female or male, including but not limited to:
- Disorders of breast development
- Breast cancer risk assessment
- Breast cancer screening and high-risk surveillance recommendations
- Skin lesion(s) on the chest wall
- Breast pain or swelling
- Breast abscess or mastitis
- Nipple discomfort or nipple discharge
- Breast mass/lump
- Axillary (armpit) mass/lump
- Abnormal breast imaging results
- New diagnosis of atypia or cancer on breast biopsy
- Possible recurrence of breast cancer
- Survivorship care and follow-up after treatment of breast cancer
- In-office point-of-care breast ultrasound is available during consultation visit if indicated
Surgical interventions
- Cyst aspiration
- Excision of skin lesion on the chest wall
- Incision and drainage/excision of breast abscess
- Surgical treatment of hidradenitis
- Removal of accessory (extra) nipples or ectopic (misplaced) breast tissue
- Nipple duct exploration/biopsy
- Breast biopsy: needle or open biopsy
- Breast conservation surgery for breast cancer, i.e., lumpectomy
- Oncoplastic breast surgery to achieve superior cosmetic results after lumpectomy for breast cancer
- Mastectomy, if indicated
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy
- Full axillary dissection
