PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center offers an Anticoagulation Clinic at the Northwest Medical Center. Anticoagulation means to stop blood from clotting or clumping so that it stops flowing freely. Patients who are at risk of developing blood clots need close monitoring. Anticoagulation therapy can be used in different situations. The most common is to help patients recover from strokes or other heart problems, such as atrial fibrillation.
Our clinic is staffed with two dedicated clinical caregivers who work with your primary care provider to ensure a safe and desirable level of anticoagulation.
This clinic is licensed as part of St. Joseph Medical Center. You may receive a separate charge or billing for facility fees in addition to any professional fees for services, which may result in a higher out-of-pocket expense.
