We specialize in diagnosing and treating people with allergies and asthma. Our specialists help to identify what "triggers" an allergic reaction. They determine ways to manage the condition when you can't avoid those triggers. We also see people with recurrent infections sometimes caused by a disorder of the immune system. Identification of immune deficiencies can allow for treatments to prevent future infections.

A variety of environmental triggers can cause allergic reactions, including:

  • Foods (milk, eggs, nuts and seafood)
  • Venomous insect stings (honey bees, yellow jackets and others)
  • Airborne allergens (pollens, dust and pet dander)
  • Contact allergens (nickel, gold, epoxy and others)
  • Medications
