Pastoral & Spiritual Care Services at PeaceHealth Ketchikan Medical Center

Our Spiritual Care team understands healing can sometimes need presence and conversation, as much as medical procedures. We honor everyone’s path toward wellness and healing, no matter their religious or spiritual beliefs. We support everyone through difficulty, grief and loss.

Services and Support

A chaplain is available 24-hours a day to provide pastoral care for patients, family and staff — and to support families of patients who are seriously ill or dying.

In-House Pastor for Caregivers

Caregivers often face stressful and demanding healthcare environments. A chaplain can provide a listening ear and a pastoral point of view during difficult times.

No One Dies Alone (NODA) Program

NODA is a volunteer program providing Compassionate Companions for terminally ill patients. Volunteers help those without close family or friends go through their final days with the support of a nursing staff. Contact Chaplain Margie Adams to learn more about becoming a Compassionate Companion.

Our Team

Our staff chaplain and team of chaplain volunteers are available to listen attentively and do everything we can to support you and your family in a way that is consistent with your own beliefs or spiritual needs.
